How to Clean Front Loading Washing Machine Door Rubber

When used continuously for washing clothes, the seal or rubber on the door surface of the front loading washing machine can become dirty and moldy.

This happens because the rubber on the door of the washing machine is often flooded with detergent or soaking water, so that the dirt carried by clothes often sticks to the surface of the rubber.

If it is dirty and unsightly, then you need to clean the rubber on the surface of the washing machine door.

Quoted from Fita Riyani's YouTube channel, here is how to clean the front opening washer door rubber.

How to clean the front opening washer door rubber

1. Pour the bleach into the container

Pour about 50 ml of bleach into a basin or bowl (adjustable amount).

2. Soak the cotton

Next, soak a lot of cotton in the bleach in the container. Make sure the cotton is soaked until it is wet.

3. Glue the cotton to the rubber

After soaking in bleach, apply a cotton swab to all dirty or moldy rubber surfaces.

Also be sure to check the bottom of the rubber by pulling it out. Check whether the bottom of the rubber has dirt and mildew as well or not. If there is, then attach it with cotton.

If you have, then let the cotton stick to the rubber surface of the washing machine door overnight.

4. Clean the rubber

In the morning, remove the cotton from the washer. Dirt and mold will usually lift by itself.
